The LRW model is manufactured by Waycon, and is a linear potentiometer that has an inexpensive and reliable way to measure distances or positions. It is a rectangular type, with its size ranging from 50 to 900 mm with linearity at a maximum ±0.05 %.

The unit also has an IP67 class of protection, and can work at temperatures of -30 °C to +100 °C.
